Mark Mazaitis, Medical Animator, brings to Vessel a diverse skill-set developed through eighteen years of professional experience in the medical/scientific visual fields. His passion lies in medical animation & CGI, where beauty is truly in the details. Having been bitten by the triathlon bug several years ago, when he’s not in front of work you can find him in the garage tuning his bike, or flying off to “compete” in races around the country.
Amanda Slade, Medical Animator, recently graduated from the Art as Applied to Medicine masters program at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and went on to complete the certificate in Comparative Medical Illustration postgraduate program at the University of Georgia. She has a background in biology and veterinary medicine, having worked as a veterinary technician for a number of years. She also has a passion for traveling and has volunteered on organic farms in Hawaii and taught English in South Korea.
